The Ion Creangă Theater, founded in 1965, is a vibrant hub for children’s entertainment. Originally nestled in Lahovari Square, it relocated to the bustling 13 Amzei Square in 1976. Under the auspices of the General Council of Bucharest, and supported by local funds, it stands proudly alongside other state theaters.
Its mission? To dazzle audiences with top-notch theatrical performances, while spearheading research programs and educational initiatives tailored for children aged 0 to 12, as well as their educators and parents.
The Ion Creangă Theater initiated a rebranding effort, pooling creativity and modernization to refresh its image and engage its audience more effectively. This new identity presents the theater’s playful essence blending geometric shapes with the TIC acronym.
